I made this picture as a gift for a friend. First I stamped the light house and the waves with Close to My Heart (CTMH) Black Archival ink on a water color paper. I used this ink pad in the hopes of not having any ink running later. I enjoy the new cloud technique Cindy taught us at our Crafting in the Country class. I like how the sky worked out, which I did with CTMH Crystal Blue ink pad, a sponge and a torn piece of paper. I also added the sand on the left using the same torn paper & sponge technique with CTMH Desert Sand Ink pad. For the water coloring I used my CTMH blending pen to blend the water color pencils. I tried a few background mats and decide on a piece I had of denim blue. I hope she likes it. The only thing I will change in the future is glare free glass only for the frames.
