Hello, I have turned off the satellite dish and gotten busy. You may have seen the card class I finally completed at home. They were from my January 2013 class with Cindy Leek, she has a card workshop at her studio, Crafts in the Country, once a month for about 8 to 10 months of the year depending on how the winter is. you may want to visit her website or fb page, Saving Memories with Cindy and see some of her beautiful works of art. Anyway I have taken on the attitude of my up-line that since CTMH conventions is like the start of a "New Year" I have made a few resolutions.

1. Don't think and procrastinate, Accelerate and expedite!! or maybe just go ahead and finish.

Well all changes start with baby steps right, just one at a time. I have been busy making a 2 page layout of a 6 or possible 8 pages. I got the style for these pages from CTMH's book Reflections, Scrapbook program  a collection of page designs by Jeanette Lynton the founder of Close to My Heart. This is a Great book to have for design ideas. Very easy to follow. It is well made and a bargain at $14.95. The how to publications had been retired but they have been updated and brought back by popular demand. All 6 (4 scrap-booking and 2 card) publications will be available in the Autumn/Winter catalog on August 1st. Reflections scrap-booking and Originals card confidence are available for purchase now.
 I am making these layouts for my sister-in-law and her daughter. They met a couple from England on a previous cruise and forged  some great new friendships. They, along with the daughters husband were invited to England to attend the couples Wedding. Passports in hand they flew across the Pond to Great Brittan for this celebration with their new friends. Since they were in the area they decided to extend their trip and include visits to Paris, Ireland and Scotland. I started my pages with Paris since I had La Belle Vie paper and Stickease along with CTMH black sparkles flourishes. Below are photos of the 2 page layout,

 I think this says it all for Paris 

Since I don't know the size of  their photos (probably not printed yet) I used temporary glue dots on the precut areas for pictures so we can make adjustments later. Hope they like it.

Lots of new photos

I have posted a lot of photos recently but I did not do it with a post and I apologize if anyone is having trouble viewing my pictures from CTMH Walt Disney World Convention, or any of the othe new photos I have added so when you are on my blog and you scroll down on the right side click on view my whole profile and I think that will take you to the photos. I'll try if there is still a problem I'll get it working. Did I mention that computers wear me out?
