My CTMH Frosted B&T Paper Challenge to myself.

The 1st of my personal card challeng
The 2nd set of my personal challenge

This card was done with 4" x 5 1/4" diamond side of the B& T paper from Frosted as background mat, then
I attached a 2" x 4 3/4" piece of the blue side for a vertical accent on the left. Added a 5 1/4 strip of the B&T trim on the left edge. I cut a 2"x2" champagne trimmed the bottom with the scalloped border edge then  used a little of the gray dot washi tape on the top. I stamped and cut out the Classic Doily and heat embossed with gold. Added the 3 clusters of glimmers and Voila. I am happy with the outcome.

This card was quick and easy this time I used the large random snowflake side of the Frosted cut 5 1/4" x 4". I made the velum pocket using a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece each of daisy card stock and velum that I stamped also rounded the corners of both. I attached 3 sides of velum to the cs and then attached the card stock to the mat of the card. I punch a ticket tag and made a hole with a snowflake punch for the ribbon. The sentiment is on a 1/2" x 2 1/2"...boom card 2 done.

I enjoyed this challenge because I wanted to use the sunflower stamp specifically. So I chose the cheveron side of Frosted in the verticle to go with the size of the flower head. I used the trim piece again on the left edge. The Flower was stamped on Daisy White colored with water color pencils, then draw a few limes of glue and used the prisma glitter and cut out. I used a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2 piece of the reverse side of the chevron paper for my mat for the flower head. A 1 1/2 x 3 piece of colonial white for the sentiment. And last but not least I placed 3 drops of glitter glue to enhance the card but not take away from the beautiful sunflower.
This is a great card for a little girl who likes being a princess. The background mat is the large random snowflake B& T paper. I used the cricut  Artiste to cut out the banner, Birthday Girl & the cupcake. Stamped the ribbon and cupcake. The cupcake has glue on the stripes of the wrapper  and a few dots on the top then some prisma glitter added. I also trimmed and dotted the cupcake with liquid applique and heated. Sentiment is on 1 1/2" x 3" piece of the reverse side of the B&T.

Here was another challenge I just took the slate grey ink pad and slid the edges of the pad over the edges of the card base to get a rough urban look for the edges then I placed a mat of the light side of the uniformed snowflake B& T. I stamped the Fashionista in champagne  and did a few areas of color with the alcohol markers. Cut her out. I stamped the storefronts in slate cut them out and use alcohol markers for some color again. I sanded a 3 1/4 square of  Ponderosa Pine for the background for the fashionista. Used a 2 1/8 square of Juniper w/rounded  corners for the sentiment sponged with slate. Popped the storefronts and added a few gems.

Here was another chance for me to use a stamp I have used yet. I sponged the edges of the Daisy White card with whisper A 4 x 5 1/4 piece of the large random snowflakes B&T duo paper 3" square of of Whisper cs distressed by using the edge of the slate grey swipped against the edges of the square. I stamped in black ink the music background and sponged the edges with whisper I used a piece of Daisy White 2 1/4 x 4  for the sentiment,  again I swiped the card stock with whisper to carry the theme of music and motion and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. Popped the music sheet on the upper left side and finished by adding 3 brass badges.

I had a lot of fun with these and I still have plenty of Frosted for Holiday and Christmas cards for craft shows. I hope this shows  you all that just because it looks like a winter holiday paper doesn't mean you can only use it for that. I believe I have quite a variety of cards for quite the variety of people. So challenge yourselves and see what you can create and share what you have done. To get more information on the items I have used here go to my web site lucycollins.ctmh.com.
